Her talks are forums of inspiration where she and the assembly have an opportunity to address the concerns questions and discoveries that people bring to this precious time. Central to every meeting is a spiritually stimulating exchange among sincere people.
ShantiMayi eclectically draws upon the quintessence of many traditions: Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, and the Aboriginal Tribes of the Americas and Australia. Though this is so, she speaks from her own direct spirituality and points us back to ourselves. She says she is not religious and is not against religion as such. Whatever awakens us to 'Truth' is in fact 'the way'. It is our own spiritual discovery, from within us and in our lives that brings us to the light of our heart-wisdom. ShantiMayi inspires us to enliven the wonderful potential within us all.
Due to humanity’s ignore-ance of our inherent oneness with all of existence, feelings of
separation and divisiveness predominate throughout the world. Greed, power and the
quest for external, superficial satisfaction marks the break-down of diverse cultures
everywhere.
Our world teeters on the brink of destruction, resulting through wars, hunger, abuse of
power, the elimination of the earth’s vital natural resources, ecological imbalance and so
on. ShantiMayi directs us to turn our attention inward; to return again and again to the
wisdom residing within our heart. ‘There’ differences are seen as transparent, and
problematic situations find genuine resolution in integrity and limitless love. She continually
guides listeners to 'live spirituality' in our daily lives with an open heart and open mind.
Each moment experienced is (actually) fresh and new, and is (actually) free from our mental
projections and self-made difficulties. It becomes possible to realize the deepest peace
and stillness from within our selves. This peace and stillness is revelation. It is the very
same peace and stillness that permeates all of life throughout the universe.
